Day 8: Brick Lane and its Vintage Stores

Sunday, 11/August/2013

The best thing about Louisa's and my way to Brick Lane war definitely sitting in the first line in the upper deck of the typical british doppel-decker bus! Want to know what it's like? Here's a video: (Oh and read on if you want to know more about the best Vintage stores in London)

After some time me and Louisa arrived near Brick Lane. We just had to walk a some meters to be welcomed by a giant hall with about 30 different booths offering food from every country around the world. In the end i decieded to go for chinese noodles topped with BBQ-chicken and honey-chicken. It was luscious!

The first Vintage store we visited that day was Blitz London (click name for link!). They probably have the biggest sortiment there! I got original Levis (!!) shorts for only 20 Pounds! Can you believe it? And also Louisa was successfull! We were really happy we went there. As we continued following the street we realized there are loads of Vintage stores. We went in every single of them and found among other things designer fashion for the lowest prices you can imagine. :O

Another great Vintage store we went to was called Rockit (click for link). Great things. Worth a visit! I can't tell you about all of the amazing shops there but if you come to London and walk down Brick Lane there's no way you'll miss these.
