Exhibition at Photographer's Gallery

A little late but better than never, right? But there was just so much to do and so little time to write a proper blogpost. But now I can finally tell you about a exhibition me and my friend visited in 'The Photographer's Gallery'.

The exhibition was called "Primrose: Early Colour Photography In Russia".
Very interesting to see what the beginnings of colour photography particularly in Russia looked like. We saw a lot of creative images. It was fascinating how many of the pictures looked like paintings due to the colouration.
Obviously they used to photograph their image three times but in different colours so that those pictures could add up to one normal coloured picture.

You could see how the colouration of pictures improved throughout the years and some of the pictures were pretty good quality!

When stroling around the gallery we also found a room where dias where shown and immediately had to go and take some photos there. I love how they turned out!
